Narrator for post Dragon song cutscene

I've been watching the cutscenes for the MSQ "Promises Kept", which includes a dinner with ....

After dinner there is some narration (cutscene 2, I believe) with a voice I don't recognize. It's bugging me. Can anyone give me a clue?

The narrator was Papalymo. It will become more obvious towards the end of Patch 3.4 and in Patch 3.5.

Yup, it's definitely Papalymo - the narrator for most of Heavensward though was Count Edmont narrating his memoirs of the end of the Dragonsong War, which finishes at 3.3. From then on, Papalymo takes over in 3.4 as narrator, for reasons as others mentioned become apparent in 3.5. Keep playing and it will all become clear.

Question about the end of "Far Side of Fate" - I think I know the answer, being as Calamity was 5 years ago, Realm-time -

(Spoiler for the end of 3.56, which I only finished last night)

Has the Yda we know, always actually been Lyse? Since we're told Yda was killed *six* years ago?

It's hard to say, but if that is true, then that means only 1.0 Gridanian players would have ever actually seen, let alone met, the

real Yda, and not Lyse-masquerading-as-her-sister (and even then, it was only through the Echo, given that the 1.0 starting city stories were actually mostly Echo scenes the player was experiencing of events that happened 10 years previously. For one thing, the real Yda had short hair, which was revealed in a 1.0 cutscene)



Which is something of a downer - even though even at the start of ARR it seemed something about 'Yda' didn't quite add up, she didn't seem like the Yda I remembered, like... she was someone else. It still makes me sad though.
