White Mage feedback thread census (posts 1-120)

Hi, I've digged, out of curiosity, into the first 120 posts of that gigantic thread, here some stats about it:

44 different players have participated

Of those 44 players:

14 (32%) have expressed a clearly negative feedback
30 (68%) didn't, counting: who have told they wait to see the real whm before expressing an opinion, whose the opinion wasn't "clearly" negative, and whose didn't expressed an opinion (off topics).

Of the 120 posts:
70 (58%) were made by the players with a negative feedback,
50 (42%) by the other players..



It is only 120 posts of a zergload but interesting results anyway. When I will have more free time I'll continue to dig it...

Considering the first 120 posts or so were 5-6 threads combined into one, I'd imagine most of them are before the embargo was lifted.

All of them 120 came in a 24 hour timeframe (May 22 to 23), pretty impressive. After-embargo deserves a brand-new statistic, imo.

The first few pages were prior to the embargo being lifted, where people were wondering what was going on. after those, that is where you get to the After-Media Embargo, where we're getting the prelim information that they wanted to showcase and now they're getting feed back.

The first 120 posts are not a good judge. go to about page 100 and pick 120 random posts from there, that would be the middle of the embargo being lifted and things "calming" from the kneejerk rage and into a calmer look into what is going on with speculation on what might happen now that we have a bit more information.

...Even I was trying to stay optimistic before the embargo lift, but anyways... I'm not sure this is the best idea because right now it's become rather circular. There's not really much more to discuss until SE takes action, or doesn't. We'll see a fresh wave of thread and post spam in 4.0 whm launches in a bad state, but in the meantime... My personal thoughts are that it would be more interesting to see a sample from, say, the first two days of the embargo lift.

I guess starting from 5/30 is a good pick-up, people had time to read/view and make thoughts before posting.
