Suggestion : Add a special category to Duty Finder - Solo Trials

I'm aware that Duty Finder is generally intended to allow players to be matched with other players for content. However it's also a more general tool used by many to access multiple kinds of content. I recently completed the Grand Melee which finishes with the player dueling against the Flame General himself. It was quite fun, and I enjoyed the entire event, including cutscenes.

This may have been suggested before, I'm not sure. However I was chatting with my wife last night an we both thought this would be a good addition to the game.

What I am suggesting is to add a new category to the Duty Finder menu - Solo Duties. This would allow players to replay any Story and job/class related solo duties whenever they please. The content would be level and ilvl sync'd with an option to unsync (not that anyone should need that...). One additional option would be to enable/disable the cutscenes associated with the duty.

In this way we could relive these events, duties and trials by playing them over again, rather than only being able to re-watch some cutscenes in the inn.

I think Yoshi said they may look into it at the fan fest. I believe it was at the European one. At first he didn't understand the question but then he said they would need to use special tags to mark those quests.

I definitely support this. We have been requesting this many times before and just like you Kosmos, I really did enjoy facing the flame general and I'd like to do it again, this time with a sword instead of a book.

Yes, definitely. I'd like to face him book in hand, since I was PLD the 1st time. It would be fun to try these kinds of solo duties with different jobs to see how our tactics change each time.

You have my full support. There's so many different instanced solo duties that I would love to do again, but there's no way to do so currently.

I would love to redo the Level 50 DRK solo instance. Sole reason for leveling some of my alts is just to have the chance to redo that fight.
