Quicker patches would make progress even slower... imagine how much time SE will be spending prepairing these micro patches, testing them and uploading....

Now lets look at the current patch rate... SE dumps a huge amount of dedicated time into developing a patch, testing and then release, then mid way through the cycle they update with a 1.xxa patch that fixes bugs and adds a small amount of content. This is ideal for me, plus having to constantly update the game can be troublesome for other people.

As far as people complaining about large patch notes... It's there if you want it, and if you want a watered down version you have the forums to give you that.
