XIV on Switch and Xbox

As long as Switch can play the game smooth, it is welcome. It is intended to play games. Focusing much in tech specs makes you lose the whole picture. If xiv plays smooth, and no limitations because the ps3 Switch cannot handle this or that, then the console is ok.

Switch has less power, so there will be limitations by default. 14 should only be on Ps4/Pro, PCs that are preferably using 64 bit, and if in the small chance on the Xbox X.

They should do a test run. If the Switch can't handle 100 people doing the same FATE (like Odin during 2.0), then drop it.

I am fully aware of this and did say in the sentence you quoted that both companies did anti consumer decision about cross play (and ofc about other topics). This was the last time yoshi talked about ff14 on xbox one or switch...http://www.siliconera.com/2017/06/06...ake-long-time/

You completely ignored the context of this sentence. The poster i quoted was talking about bad decision Microsoft made in the past for cross play and then i said "Microsoft and Sony did anti consumer decisions...." meaning Microsoft wasn't the only company doing anti consumers decisions in the past for different games. Sony aswell and this needs to stop, because i want cross play for every game with every plattform as a gamer. Again, the discussion and my sentence was about cross play in general and not about FF14. I get that my english is bad sometimes, but pls read my post and the quote i am refering to the next time, instead of taking this out of context and telling me stuff i already known.
