[dev1228] Regarding Stat allotment for each class

In the patch notes you can notice it will be somewhat important to correctly allocate the extra stat points for each class, since you won't be able to re-allocate them in some time (1.20a I supose).

I've had some though about this... in the screenshot provided you can see there are a total of 39 points to set at lvl 50, having a maximum of 23 points set on one stat, so you can either set 23 points in 1 stat and 16 on the other one, or share them.

My doubt is bonus 1 stat is more important than bonus 2 stat? If we use Pugilist as example, he uses INT(bonus 1) and STR(bonus 2). INT will prolly boost the earth/fire added damage of stances, MP draining WS and Blindside as well, STR is mainly for the physical damage WS.

Having high INT also means you can set some elemental nukes on your pugilist and do some decent damage.

So will it be better to set 23 INT > 16 STR? or the other way arround? what are your thoughts? and about the other classes?

edit: corrected the max ammount of points you can set to 1 stat to 23 :3

Okay so once I hit 10 I get 5 points. Extra? Seperate from the auto stat allocation??
Next question. When u hit EVERY lvl after 10 u get one single point per lvl?? Or 1 than 2 than 3 for each lvl increasing by 1 point every lvl. That seems ridiculous. I assume its not the latter

Yeah they are EXTRA points, you will get improved stats just leveling up, but you will be able to set some extra points in the stats you prefer.

About how many points.. if there are 39 at lvl 50 I guess you will get 1 per level starting from level 11. The 2 -3 -4 etc shown in the table of the patch notes are not how many you get, they are how many can you set in 1 stat at a given level, being 23 the max at lvl 50.

    Ok but as it reads...

Disciples of War & Magic will be able to allot points starting from level 10, at which time they will receive five attribute points to spend. Each subsequent gain in level will earn you one additional point.

Wouldn't that give you 45 points at 50? not 39... if you start getting points at level 10 and at level 10 you get 5 points... then its 1 point each level after that would be 45 at level 50... or did I miss something... I may have missed something...

As far as pugilist goes, it seems like boosting both STR and INT will increase your general damage output no matter what, since the stat list doesn't note about INT only boosting elemental-based pug attacks. However if the elemental stuff is boosted by "attack magic potency" you might want to invest more INT than STR if you want your main source of damage to be elemental-boosted auto-attacks.

You know something shocked me is the following:
    "Piety
    Magic Evasion
    Enfeebling Magic Potency
    Maximum MP
Damage dealt by archer, lancer, thaumaturge, and conjurer arms"

Lancer dmg is from pie :O

Just want to throw this out there: it's 45, not 39. The screenshot shows 1 point allocated to each stat already, so 6 have been spent. This will allow a 23-22 spread.
