So close and yet so far. lol I just hope they leave the Ex cards out of it (Tidus, Firion, etc.) I'm sure I could get the rest, but I will most likely never get the last 2 Ex cards on my list since platinum pack RNG hates me.

If they don't intend to address how difficult it is to get the tournament cards between the time-gating and match throwers ensuring their friends get into top 3, then yeah, I think they should be excluded from the "all cards" achievement.

Wasn't "all cards" just a number?
I thought they said that instead of literally tracking things to ensure you got all the cards attainable pre 6.0, that it just notes the number of cards attainable, and once you eventually reach that number you can get the reward.
So cards from later expacs will count to ease things for people who are struggling with the last few.

I hope so. The only card I'm missing right now is Cecil and the only real chance I have is picking him randomly in one of the usually 3 platinum booster packs I get every two weeks for participating. So basically it's completely luck base for me when or if I will ever get it.

Most likely being the reward for having all Triple Triad cards up to 5.55.

It would have made more sense to me by having it as a reward for doing Rival Wings. Give Astragalos a makeover to bring it inline with Hidden Gorge and then put both maps in a daily rotation like Frontline. Get 100 wins through the daily queue.

If not Cruise Chaser, maybe a Brute Justice mount for Rival Wings?

90% chance that if the reward is Cruise Chaser, and it's from "collecting all cards up to now", it will be something like a reward for the achievement "Triple Decker XI". Since the previous Triple Decker achievements were at 220, 270, 300, it's likely the next one will be at 330, meaning we should see 8 new cards in 5.55 (current max is 322), likely from Zadnor.

That being said, this will be an extremely difficult achievement to obtain in 5.55 due to Tournament Cards which you only a SIX opportunities PER YEAR to obtain Tidus/Lightning/Firion/Cecil because tournaments are only once every 2 weeks and there are 4 types of tournament with a unique card reward and they cycle. Although you can very rarely also get Platinum Cards from winning an Open TT Tournament which themselves have 1% chances at those cards too.

That said, on day 1 of 6.0, there will likely be like 30+ new cards immediately available from dungeons/trials/NPCs/FATEs which should make catching up a bit easier.

Somebody claimed that Cruze Chaser was unlocked by 100% completion in "save the queen" but that seems also to turn up false.

I'm starting to feel like it's just dataminer bait, and not actually ever going to be made public.
