PVP suggestion: Gil drops in Frontlines/Feast

I don't know if it's been suggested before as I haven't seen any recent threads, but has SE considered this before or answered this question in the past?

Adding some kind of gil rewards to the Frontlines roulette and a smaller one to the maps seems like a good idea to me. That way players who focus on PVP a lot can obtain some gil directly for playing a lot. 2-5k seems fair, maybe give the same reward regardless of 1st-3rd place.

Yes I know you can turn wolf marks in to gil, but I'm suggesting adding an additional reward to PVP to make it more worthwhile to play.

Sound idea but I would say that the gil reward should be same as with Wolf Marks. Static on the roulette (if it remains come 4.0) and more or less depending on how you placed in the match. Just to encourage people to try to win.

We have enough afk botters in frontlines already, no need to reward them even more.

Frontlines/Feast will be Northern Thanalan of 4.0. At least it'll make farming kill achievements easier.

I don't see why.....you don't need repairs in PVP.....so gil would only potentially effect PVE aspects (AKA the MB). They have stopped PVE (Gear) effecting PVP.

PVP should not effect PVE. PVE should not effect PVP.

1. Use wolf marks to buy the PvP gear.
2. Turn in said gear for GC seals.
3. Buy crafting mats from GC vendor.
4. Put them on the MB for gil.

You can also desynth that gear. You might get a minion from Feast that sells for a decent amount.

There's no need to award gil, they essentially already do.

Yep, you can level from (?)30>70 using PVP. I'm not looking forward to AFK farmers, it'll be worse than during Garo.
