What servers should be expected as free transfer?

I am a 3 year almost 4 year player, transfered 4 times since. Only reason im trying to find out is i love leviathan, i promised myself i'd stay but friends are leaning on aether server when they return and start this week. I can't pay to transfer at this time to the server they are choosing due to rl, bills,housing renovation, ect, so i'll bee seeking out a free underpopulated server to at least datacenter pf with! Im sure other people in same situation as well seeking info and ty very much if helpful. I already predicted what i suspect but i may be wrong myself!

Well, I'm from Zalera and I'm sure ours will be a free transfer due to low population. I personally enjoy it here and wouldn't change. Low population is really no longer an issue thanks to the new changes to party finder. Although I never really had trouble here for doing instances anyways. I never really felt it as low as other people make it seem, but then again, I've only been in Zalera and never tried another server.

If I were to hazard a guess, the most likely candidates for 'designated' servers on Aether to get bonuses are: Goblin, Mateus, and Zalera. Probably nothing on Primal since it's not as dire. EU/Chaos: The new worlds to be created.

I expect your server, goblin,mateus but rpers are apparently all flocking there, framfrit, brynhildr, marborol, siren, midgardsormr out of na, possible there is more! With datacenter pf i agree thats why im ok with going to a separate server till i can afford to go to the one they choose if they choose a populated server! Why we will be moving our group to ffxiv so its kinda why im definitely going to their server.

Definitely but tbh i would say as of last few years midgardsormr should be free because i left it 2 times due to underpopulated and dead before pf changes

might be a good idea to stay away from aether as it will be hit the hardest come stormblood, im tempted to move off aether for a short duration to get my stuff done without aether going down a lot

Midgardsomr's ballpark actives is in the 6k range. 7k is where SE seems to designate as highly congested (Re: EU data center numbers). There isn't a reason to give it an incentive when the other worlds are probably 3-5k away from being highly congested.
