Question about Miqo'te regarding 2.0version

Greetings every1,

Got a quick question about the Miqo'te race in the 2.0 version.

So I have read that in the 2.0 version the male Miqo'te will be available.
And I also have read that we'll be able to change our appearances cause of drastic changes in the game engine.

Now my question is. Will I be able to change gender aswell if I create a female Miqo'te now?
I'm not sure about it, that's why I'm asking. Cause gender-changing seems so drastical.

That's something a lot of us have wanted an answer for, apparently Yoshi is "unsure" if gender changes will be allowed due to people's names not making sense, but I feel a complete character redesign should be afforded.

Initially I thought I read that races that were single gender would get a chance to change gender. But as Belial has mentioned, Yoshi is concerned about the naming arena for all this.

No no, tis' all good! The search doesn't always yield the results I'm anticipating either unless they're devtag'd.

Yea, I've found search doesn't always bring about the proper threads, but that's pretty much all we have at this point. I'm sure it will be clarrified as they get closer to implementing the other genders.

It's kind of a risque subject, but I think they'll find a way to make it so people can change to whatever race/sex they want to for a one time deal once 2.0 is here.

in the live interview, most translations done by fans suggest he says "HE is not so sure about letting people change genders..."

But when they brought it out translated by SE, (And had plenty of time to hear complaints, dunno if that influenced it or not.) It seems as if he is now saying "are YOU sure you want to change genders?" as in, he's ok with it, but thinks YOU wouldn't like doing it.

Over all I doubt he phrased it that way, and it was altered after hearing the complaints of ppl who were stuck female miqote, male roegadyn etc, and wanted in the right genders.
