    Honestly, what is "too simple" and "too complex" is up to each individual.
    It will be too simple for YOU, but you cant decide what is too simple for everyone. (nor does simplicity/complexity in this situation, scale left to right, as it goes in multiple directions.)

    The real issue, is that you're like me, in that we are losing the job we loved, and the gameplay is going to disappear, never to be seen again.
    The arguement shouldnt be "its too easy now!" but instead, "how do we get to play the game we loved again?"

    would be nice to see both styles somehow possible (my only guess is the WoW class spec system) the best you can argue is having what you like back in some form.

    Reality check: the class was never hard no class in a GCD syle mmo ever is without adding in artificial difficulty. the only real change to our class was instead of getting out as many gierk as you can its now about getting into life of the dragon as often as you can. So same thing basically different name stop whining.

    For those who were saying drg did not flow or made no sense with pleb. You are wrong the class flowed just fine if you had problems with it blame your hotbar set up.

    Neither did managing gerik which is what I'm trying to get you to see you pop it off whenever you have above 21 seconds and you know there are no upcoming mechanics which is a moot point after the first time since every single enemy in the game is on a clock and does the same thing at the same time every single time. So you wasting stacking eyes and the boss jumps away is purely player fault. While i love this job im not going to say that it requires some advanced skill to play merely the ability to memorize when stuff happens and what you can and can't get away with nothing more nothing less.

    I'm not arguing what you're suggesting.
    (Or at least I'm getting the impression your statement is in opposition to what I'm saying, but I'm not trying to say its harder or easier. I honestly dont know if I find it easier or harder, since I found DRG to be boring in 2.0 and 3.0. Some people classify DRG 3.0 as one of the harder DPS to play, but to me it seemed pretty straightforward, and easier than some of the so called "easy" DPS jobs. But I'm not necessarily like most people when it comes to what is hard or easy to me. The job I'm losing out on is the current DRK playstyle, which I enjoy, and would like some tweeks, but not in the direction they are taking it currently.)

    I wonder if left and right eye stack. I.e. can we use it on another dragoon?? 15% dmg up. Im interested to test this out.

    I welcome the changes to Dragoon. Yes the core rotation is simpler and there's less to juggle, but it still has a system that offers finesse for the most skilled players to take advantage of. Most of the complications lost from 3.X were plain irritating, and didn't even feel that rewarding when done right as opposed to say, MCH or BLM.

    I still think there's going to be a massive gap between highly skilled dragoons and similarly geared players who are doing "the rotation." Even if the blood for blood change from a 30% damage increase on a 90s cooldown is changed to its media tour numbers of 15% on an 80s cooldown, dragoon will still lose/gain potency from correctly timing their abilities and weaponskills within this window. And there is also dragon sight to consider--which appears to have a different cooldown timer, and buff duration. So both of those windows (and how they interact with each other) will make a noticeable difference in PPS for dragoons. On top of that, there's other simple things that make a huge difference in damage output too. Like holding cooldowns and party buffs to synergize with phases of a fight, using mobility to maximize uptime, and also adapting the GCD rotation during certain phases or situations in fights.

    Plus, subject to change, preliminary information, etc.
