    Do you... ever watch other brds? what I said is more of a joke because a large amount of brds do horrible DPS because all they do is spam it, so removing it achieves their goal of lessing the skill gap since it does not exist to spam. I do not think removing low level aoes like quick nook is smart then how in the hell do you aoe in low levels?

    Happy see it gone, so sick of seeing so meany spam it just because it looks cool or something. Wide volley and berserk macros is something I will not miss.

    This could technically be achieved just as easily by simply giving Wide Volley by default, so that there is no more viable option. There, skill-gap lessoned, though AoE TP efficiency has been slightly reduced.

    Or, by giving Wide Volley by default but at Quick Nock's TP cost. Skill gap lessoned, with buffed AoE accessibility.

    Yes I do see other Bards, and yes I know exactly what you meant, but that skill alone isnt the main reason for the gap. Some Bards are just bad. I had one last night that they would only focus on one enemy, DoT it, then spam the single target skills. I saw Rain of Death maybe once and Wide Volley maybe 3 times. I asked her if she knew the AoE rotation, and well when I explained it I got nada, and she was the AoE DPS too, T.T

    Also don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying Wide Volley itself was better than Quick Nock, its positioning was better. Our normal range for skills is lets say 15y in game (dont know the exact number just giving an example) Wide Volley had the same range as all of our other skills, Quick Nock's range is shorter, maybe starting out at 8y and moving up to 12y. With Wide Volley you can stay at your original spot but Quick Nock forces you to move. The only benefit now is you can move while spamming it now.

    Also I dont Know but MCH had 2 similar AoEs was their Wide Volley equivalent removed as well? They always had more AoE over us anyway.

    I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

    Was it being spammed on a pack of mobs? Because honestly its actually more efficient and better DPS overall to pop cooldowns and spam Wide Volley on a pack of mobs, than it is to single target each one to death. So on large pulls, yes, it had a huge usage. Interchangeable with Quick nock - personal preference honestly. So now we'll just hear all the Bards making popcorn since we only have Quick Nock now (see sig if u dont get the joke.)
