I thought I read a Yoshida post that mentioned they were hoping for a Friday release date. It seems like most of the concerns aren't in the localization, but the original Japanese text/format.
I may have missed that post if he did, I just remember they said they would like it released on the 14th, and then I remember the influx of Ooos and Ahhhs as SWTOR starts up on the 13th.
