Holidays and expansion areas (Ishgard, Kagune and what imma assume will be rhalgr's)

Will we ever get holiday decorations in these areas? Or will they just be in the 3 main city states, I'm not sure if they ever addressed this when heavensward came out but meh, it's just a QOL I assume anyway.

No, because to reach those cities you need to unlock them via MSQ first.

Its unlikely - for two reasons:
1) Those events are supposed to be for everyone, even those who havent reached the new cities yet, hence why they're focussed on the three start-areas
2) You may have noticed that the decoration doesnt change from year to year - they've got fixed assests for those decorations and for each event, so for the three citystates we've got its no effort to pull out the decorations. Ishgard and Kurgane would be an effort because they dont have those assets

A lore-reason (...maybe even one that was given bei Koshij or Yoshi himself, I dont recall) is that those cities are currently war-zones, so no one has actually time to put up decorations (or rather: christmas-decorations are the last thing you're thinking off when fighting of giant dragons)

Go ask the people in The Brume how they like the Starlight Celebration decorations. It will surely warm their hearts and fill their stomachs....

Events are level 15 most of the times, this means that level 15 players need to be able to go to areas where these events are held. Have you noticed that almost all events are in places where low level players can acess without any hurdles? Gold Saucer, the 3 main cities, the level 1-5 zones etc.

Unless they add portals to Heavensward zones or Stormblood zones for low level players, we will not see any event there.

I mean just the decorations themselves, the quest can stay where lower level people can get it, I mean like how trees get set up around for christmas and the halloween stuff gets set up around for halloween.

I dont think OP is talking about the quests. keep the quests where they are. It would be nice to see some decoration in other places though.

Lore wise it may not be feasible on Othard cause for all we know, these holidays could just be Eorzean holidays.

But I guess we'll see.

As I explained: They would have to make those decorations for the newer cities and if I recall correctly the devs answered to doing that once with "No, to much work and effort"

The new housing districts will have decorations, and they are in SB. The city of Kugane also might get it then, but we'll see.
