Embrace the AST!

Well... still have to see how things play out, but with Whm looking to get some pretty meh.. mechanics and Sch not getting much love either should we give up on Sch and Whm and just embrace Ast fully? Are others thinking about switching as well? And I'm actually kind of curious, would SE make changes if the healer community consisted overwhelmingly of Ast? >.<

Well, they did make changes to BRD because people apparently dropped that job like hot popotoes after WM was introduced, so I wager they would make changes to WHM/SCH as well if AST was by far and wide the most popular healer.

i have a feeling a portion of the bard population will be going mch or rdm since they got mobility back but sacrificed damage for support. i'm tempted for sure. optimizing song lists doesn't sound too exciting.

Yep. As a current SCH main I definitelly will get it to 70 (not sure if first or eventually), but will probably switch to AST for SB...

Why not just keep playing the job you really like and love. Just because it is "meh" right now, doesnt mean it might not get "Kweh!" in next patch. Nobody pays your sub to forbid you to play WHM.

They didn't keep the jobs the same though. They took so many DoTs from SCH that its going to be boring to play in a lot of content. It won't be fun.

already switched to AST for ex/savage during late 3.5 ...so with this hot mess they call whm, I'll continue with AST in SB....however, my WHM will be prepared and ready for whenever theres a significant change done on them.
