Thank you very much.
I have a lot of questions for you due to my roleplaying, however, your answers give me enough to continue making things up as I go along.![]()

I was really hoping that might tie into the answer for question number five. Perhaps this is part of the effort to incorporate more race lore into the game?
I'm sorely missing some race-specific settlements, myself.

Ul'dah is Dunesfolk city/hometown/capital, there you go. Dunesfolks are pretty racist btw.
True, that is some of the only racial lore I've found in the game. There is a Lalafell in one of the temples in Ul'dah who says that city used to be their home. Until all the foreigners moved in. And now his neck hurts as he cranes his head upward to look at them.
I greatly enjoy reading things like that in game.

Thank you for answering these! <333
Thank you for the answers, Fernehalwes!
There are some npc's that will dole out some pretty random facts about the races in game now, even some on the beast tribes. both from side quest and regular dialougeTrue, that is some of the only racial lore I've found in the game. Fun fact, Hellsguard roegadyn generally regard the practice of alchemy as sacreligous affront to the twelve's power.

Exactly, some lore is there, but it's not very explicitly stated. That is a wonderful example; someone who wishes to play a Hellsguard might want to know so that they don't craft their background to be heavily tied with Alchemy, pun intended. Every bit of history should be available to anyone from SE's official page, not just the (very) general info. There are some npc's that will dole out some pretty random facts about the races in game now, even some on the beast tribes. both from side quest and regular dialouge

Fernehalwes, thank you for taking your time to answer the questions. What you have given us is wonderful, and will spur some interesting Role-Play, now that we have definitive answers. As you said, there will always be more questions- and we certainly do not want to overburden you, but to be honest this is just a tip of the iceburg. Unfortunately there is very few instances where lore is available from SE directly, so for now this is one of few ways we can go about obtaining that info. I hope that you'll have time to answer a few more on 'round two' sometime in the beginning of the new year, as holidays keep everyone busy!
Happy holidays everyone

I'd like to find more information into the differences between the two Miqo'te races, naming conventions, and if there is a rift between the two, or if it was natural evolution.
If you have questions with regards to lore, I will start compiling more questions on the Role-Play Coalition Boards. See this thread, and reply with your questions. They will be included in the next 'questions' post. Thanks!
