You are better at ?

Seems like all the traits are, you are better at something. I wish they would have kept the old system(along side this one) with some cross class traits. Like fleet of foot, instead of making it where it doesn't matter now if you have your weapon out or not.

When i read through the ability lists, I got a feeling of dejavu. Then i realized it, the traits are pretty much FFXI traits, some even named the same (Store TP anyone?). It's kinda sad, the old traits were unique, but meh, whatever.

Alot of the old traits was fail @ best only maybe like 4 or 5 of them stuck out

They made plenty of new traits i seen 1 trait from xi and that was store tp....

My point of the thread wasn't that one xi one, it was the ones that are all Better at something

each class has 11 traits and none of them are convert 10 vit into pie. I got to say I'm pretty happy with it.

I meant that they all looked similar to traits from FFXI, but there's no denying that these traits are better than most of what we had before.

It just helps further differentiate classes from each other. Before you could set almost any ability and trait on your preferred class to play. (read flavor of the month) Now hopefully people can play a class based on what abilities/traits suit their playstyle most. But we all know this is wishful thinking, as people will find the "preferred" setup for Moogle and we'll hear all the whining akin to needing Sentinel for Ifrit all over again.

Ya, I get that. Though, why would they make it where you can run as fast with a weapon out. Also, it would just help break up the "better traits" Just kinda seems like all the traits are just makes your effects better or something idk. Guess I was expecting more? That's a silly thing to do though.
