That configuration is like about $480 for the CPU and $500 for the GPU alone. Add in the cost for MB ($340,) RAM($150) and it probably should have cost $1470, You would still need a PSU, HDD and Chasis for it, or replace the guts of an existing system.

I'm able to play FFXIV Heavensward with 16GB DDR3 RAM, an i7-3770K, and a GTX 760, and get a mostly solid 50-60fps on High (Desktop) settings. Your build absolutely trounces mine as well. You will definitey be fine.

Thank you! I was nervous about buying my first PC. I tend to play on console, but I can't play FF14 with a controller so I thought I'd take the first step into it. I just hope I didn't get ripped off at $1,400.

Could have done that for half the cost. But if you would be asking, if that's a good price for an already assembled pc , then the answer is that it's not bad. Wouldn't call it a good deal tho, however you get what you pay for, if the knowledge is limited or lacking.

In all you shouldn't have to worry about playing the current game as well as the expansion with that.
