I have almost the exam same setup and I can run the game at max settings at 1080p @ 120fps. Heck you can run other AAA games at 60fps on max easy.

Sorry, but you need a Titan Xp and a i7 6950X to come close to running FFXIV. You should return that laptop.
I'm joking of course. If you're not just bragging and actually want to know, you'r more than capable.
By assembling the PC yourself and looking for the best deal you could get on every part - might have saved a bit on the cost on the parts and definitly on whatever the company that made the PC considered fit to charge for already putting the PC together.
If you dont know how to assemble a PC though, its probably cheaper to just buy a full package instead of risking to damage something (not that it would be that difficult to assemble a PC - if you got an old one lying around and an afternoons time, maybe take a look inside and get familiar with that stuff, so you can upgrade your current PC yourself should you ever want to do that). Pro about having someone else put that PC together is the warranty aswell ofc...
Why no one invests in a good monitor with G-Sync or Free Sync?![]()
Many people don't notice screen tearing or care about it.
I have one, but to be honest i never noticed any screen tearing prior, even in the days when i didn't even use V-sync. For me, it's all about them hertz, my monitor can go up to 165hz. Everything is smoother than butter when you can see all those extra frames per second.
The guy is low key bragging, but it's somewhat in that ballpark. A 1070 can be found for 300, i7700k for 300 (even cheaper at in store deals or with a motherboard deal), and a case/psu/ram would be under 200-ish. Then you need an SSD. I say the estimate would be around 800-1k to build your pc, but that requires time, effort, and a little luck. 1.4k isn't bad for a pre build.

GTX 1070 = 100+ FPS average in FFXIV
