This type of issue has happened before. I loose visibility of specific areas in game, graphically that become invisible. Things including(But not limited to): Character Objects(Armour, weapons), Monster Enemy(Whole enemies, including standard mobs / Boss), Mounts (armour placements), Landscape area (entire planes).
I have just recently re-installed windows 10. I have had this issue before I re-installed windows 10 and after as well.
When i used to run FF14 in full screen (I'm now running in a window, mouse-locked), ALT-TAB out and back in would generally fix the issue relatively quickly. When the issue occurs now (if the game itself does not crash) if I CRTL+ALT+DEL and open task manager, it appears as if the game then does a "refresh" much like ALT-TAB out and in.
I would assume this has something to do with loading the memory into where it is supposed to without having a proper flush of currently used memory. If this is linked with Ram, Vram, PageFile, DirectX, etc.. I am not sure/aware. But I would assume it has something to do with memory (Much like how you can flush a router of our IP if it gets flooded with incoming / outgoing requests to elevate some distress and renew to move forward (DDoS as example).
