Missing Gil after character transfer

After transferring servers.
From Behemoth to Midgardsormr.
I am missing exactly 1 million gil.
I was not over gil cap before transferring.
IF it were some cap that was below what was posted on the character transfer information page, then i would assume i would have ended up with an even about of gil. Example: 5,837,732 gil getting reduced to 5,000,000.

Just for some additional information, did your retainers only have a maximum amount of 800,000 each? You can hold 1,000,000 gil on your person, but each retainer can only hold 800,000 each.

I was not close to the max.
