    Dungeons and Ability pruning..

    I have a major concern with the recent ability pruning and low level dungeons.
    I already get tired of running low level dungeons 15-49 ect.
    With abilities being removed ect, I am worried that I will get more tired of these said dungeons.. Especially if Low level roulette will still be a thing come SB.
    Does anyone else have this concern.

    I do. Word im hearing is, they are trying to remove big pulls and force tanks to focus tanking/healers healing/dps dpsing. Unless dps does a lot more damage i fear that dungeons will feel longer. War is losing its hp absorb that it uses during big pulls as well..Maybe it would balance out with samurai having huge skill potencies and the new stats.

    yeah i like ffxiv dungeons and stuff but when you have to grind them it really takes the piss when you're being forced to move at the speed of smell

    It can't be for that reason, though. Forcing pulls to be smaller guarantees that even terrible tanks and healers will have gaping windows during which to DPS.

    Frankly it's only the largest, messiest pulls that actually force tanks to be more concerned with mitigation and that require more healing from the healer, and even then the obstacle of CS toggle that thwarted a lot of "casual" healers is removed as such in 4.0, so it's sort of a mixed message they appear to be sending.

    Hopefully this means dungeon mobs will deal a lot more damage. That would be nice to feel like you can actually DIE if you don't try to tank/heal.

    Far too many dungeons when I'm running as SCH, half the time I don't even have to heal. The faerie will carry the entire team while I play dps and that annoys me.

    This annoys me greatly as WHM, and why I avoid leveling roulette all together now...If i queue as heals and am not DPSing I get yelled at for being a lazy healer, I don't even queue as tank anymore cause im tired of being told to 'big pull' and get yelled at when I don't and /sit while dps or heals pull mobs or I don't pick them off of them when they try to pull aggro them to me. (yes i have been kicked as a tank and had healers and dps leave on me as well) The onyl time I will queue as tank is for 24-man contwnt ARR and HW alike, since most that queue as 'tank' won't actually tank EG: MT dies and destroys the DPS, other tanks don;t even try. OR MY tanks boss, and other tanks dps boss and won'y pick up adds! (yes this is all explained multiple times, before pulls and after wipes)

    ANYWAYS! -- This is precisely the kind of stuff which I have always been against Jump potions and will very much openly discriminate against those who use them.

    On topic, lots of jobs have awkward or bad ability lists in leveling dungeons already (Impulse Drive for life baby). It may get worse with SB, but it's something we probably just have to deal with.

    A little bit concerned about this (I actually enjoy levelling dungeons for the relative challenge compared to 'expert')... I'm more concerned about the number of essential abilities in the cross-role system though; What's Esuna? Rampart, huh?
