Personally I like 10 levels. WoW tried to do xpacs with only 5 levels and it just felt so unsatisfying. I WANT it to take some time to get to max level. I WANT to feel like there's a sense of distance between where I am and where I'm going.

How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?

Currently we have a structure that is vertical so it makes sense that we have levels. 5 or 10 levels? Doesn't particularly matter really to me. I can see though where it would make sense to just do 5 levels instead, especially since we -usually- don't get a new skill/trait at every level. Its bloat and meaningless bloat at that, I think if we wanted more levels we would want to space out the capability of getting levels with like... each patch? A good example would be like to at 5.0 71-72, 5.1 72-74, 5.3 74-76, 5.4, 76-78, and 5.6 78-80. I think instead of going vertical or horizontal, why not both?

10 levels with each would just be consistent. If they chose that for the first, that should be the same for all. The problem that I foresee is that like with other games, the expansions are going to make the exp curve get out of hand since 50 to 60 took as long as 1 to 50. It was quite a grind from 58 to 60 for my Monk compared to the dungeon grinding that I could do with my Paladin and White Mage. I'm just worried that 60 to 70 is going to take as long as 1 to 60. If it is, then we are going to be in for a grindfest.

10 is fine we need some sort of grind before people start saying they are bored i guess?![]()
I was hoping for 20 levels!

Id say go for another 50 lol

It should ALWAYS be 10 levels per expansion, as long as they are adding levels. Blizzard tried the 5 levels per expansion for a few years with WOW and it was a miserable failure, really messed up 2 expansions.

Guild Wars did it best.
No levels. No gear power creep.
Just more story and content.
The game has other problems - but it does this part right.
