Do AST really need this Buff?

So If I say, that I do not like the free Heal form Fairys. Because the Fairy "outshine" AST and Whm. Should SE delet the Eos and Selene. I dont think so.

At the Moment the SCH "outshines" every Healer atm. He is not a shild Healer anymore because the support if the fairy.

Either You can heal with strong shields and and be a shield healers or you heal with shields plus support from Eos and is a hybrid-Petmasterhealer with shilds.

The AST shield buff is still a bit much considering just how much they can do. Right now it seems like they have the most utility on top of really good healing in both stances (along with arguably better DPS than SCH now depending on if the changes as we know them go through). Plus, the fairy is getting a slight nerf.

My concern is healing boredom.
With this buff, the possible boredom that will come from safe healing and elongated windows for uninteresting dps rotations means I will be on auto pilot 100% of the time.

This is my biggest worry right now. It especially worries me for SCH, as I feel like it may end up being super boring to play in Stormblood. I'm considering switching to DPS for the expansion because I honestly don't like the way things are going for healers. Still haven't decided what to do yet. May still go WHM, or give in to the blatant AST favoritism. If not, I'll just go back to BRD since I am super excited for the changes.
