the forum has always worked strangely, you can get around the character limit by editing your posts. I dunno, it seems to serve its purpose and I don't really care to see them improve the forum when they need to improve WHM

Different team different specialties. It's like assuming a plumber knows how to fix an unworking electrical socket.

As far as we know they may outsource web development to a third party, or they have a team of dedicated web developers for Square Enix sites in general.

It's extremely ignorant to assume that either programming specialty knows the other. Anyway a lot of programmers call web programmers script kiddies, because web scripting is telling the web engine client (your browser) or server how to behave using commands (scripts). The people who wrote the browsers are the actual engineers.

I always found it ironic that people don't want a dislike button here because the "Reddit style hive mind" would take control and any opinions going against the majority opinion would be snuffed out, yet that's exactly what we have here anyway. Someone says something on these forums that the majority doesn't like and they get slammed for it.

The character limit is no more than an inconvenience, really. Sure I'd like to see them get rid of it, but it's not a big deal. The majority of my posts go beyond the limit as is.

What's the forum clique? Seeing as there are a lot of disagreements I'm wondering whose side has the Reds.

The character limit is rather annoying, but I've gotten used to it too.
