Stormblood registration question.

So I pre-ordered the expansion, have my Early Access already registered, but when I was reading through the details I found this:

Early access will end on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. in the time zone for the registered account’s region (NA: PDT, EU: GMT, JP: JST). Please register the full FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood registration code or promotion code before this time to continue playing after the Early Access period.

* Users who pre-ordered the PlayStation®4 PSN download version will already be fully registered from the time they pre-ordered the game, so they will not need to register a separate promotion code.

So as I play on PC, does this mean the Early Access code is only good until June 23 and we will have to enter a separate code? Or is the Early Access code the same as registration code? I'm a little confused by the wording here.

Early Access is a separate code than the standard Stormblood Code. It will allow you access until the 23rd. PS4 Digital players do not have to, its built together.

Did you order a physical copy? The physical copy comes with the actual game registration code, not just the preorder access code. You have to enter the registration code that comes with the physical copy once you receive it.

I'm a PS4 player and I bought the physical collectors edition. I get an early access code (already entered) and when I receive the physical copy it comes with the registration code, which I input on the Mogstation.

This is meant to give you a grace period if you ordered the physical version and the shipping is slow, so that you're not immediately locked out of Stormblood (and your character who is logged in to a Stormblood area) as soon as the clock strikes 0100 on official launch day, Tuesday 20 June.

You'll need the code from inside the box to continue playing after the end of the early access period.

I was thinking about this myself. I think we get the full registration code on the 20th, as of now at least I, have only gotten the pre-order early access code. I bought the digital version from the S-E store.

the early access code is just that, a code for early access, it is not the GAME registration code, which you recieve the day of if digital/day of few days alter if physical. Which is why the early access code lasts beyond launch a few days.
