NIN 4.0 triple jutsu burst

Ninja's new ability Ten Chi Jin allows for 3 jutsu casts buy removing mudra consumption for 10s and reducing the ninjutsu recast timer to 1s twice. It also doubles the potency of all ninjutsu actions.

Since mudra last for 5s, you can use this to cast the same jutsu multiple times if you wish.

Burst would look something like this

Single target
SE - Suiton- GS - TA - Kassatsu - SF - raiton - TCJ - ten , Chi - raiton - raiton - ration.

AoE
Katon - death blossom - kassatsu - doton - TCJ - Chi , ten - katon - katon - katon

That's only if TCJ resets the timer upon use. Which if it doesn't just remove the first jutsu

From my understanding, what you're saying won't work. Ten Chi Jin remembers the last mudra used, so you won't be able to cast the same ninjutsu back to back. It's going to go Mudra - Fuma - Mudra - 2-step jutsu (ex. Raiton) - Mudra - 3-step jutsu (ex. Suiton). Otherwise you'll get the bunny.

From my understanding, what you're saying won't work. Ten Chi Jin remembers the last mudra used, so you won't be able to cast the same ninjutsu back to back. It's going to go Mudra - Fuma - Mudra - 2-step jutsu (ex. Raiton) - Mudra - 3-step jutsu (ex. Suiton). Otherwise you'll get the bunny.

It remembers the last mudra, but using a mudra isn't necessary for the next jutsu. The recast on ninjutsu is 1 sec so basically you ten Chi ninjutsu x3 and raiton is used 3 times. The mudra lasts for 5 seconds so it will only take 3 seconds to cast all 3

The ninjutsu goes dark after Fuma (not usable), then he presses the same mudra, and it turns into a bunny. After he pressed the bunny, it went dark again not allowing the use of any more jutsus in that time.

Lame. I didn't notice it was still grey after the recast timer reset I guess I could only hope :/

Would have been so much cooler if you could triple cast the same jutsu

Yeah, spamming those 720 potency Raitons would have felt really satisfying. The need to use a tier 3 jutsu sucks.

Doubly so because, well... what are the options? Doton, Huton, Suiton.

Single-Target is pretty much set on Ten-Chi-Jin order, because you can't end on Chi to get a total potency up over Suiton via Doton without losing your Raiton and you really want Raiton. Multi-Target will have to go Jin-Ten-Chi to create both Katon and Doton. Any other combinations seem like traps on first glance.

Also: Ending with Suiton suggests Trick Attack usage afterwards... but since this is your big burst CD, you want to use Trick Attack BEFORE using it. Seems counterintuitive.

Suiton 180 (mag)
= 780 x 2 = 1560 potency.

Doton 320 (mag)
= 810 x 2 = 1620 potency.

... Heh. Might actually be you always want the AoE combo actually, if the target is stationary. Or if you don't use it with trick attack, because not all Doton ticks would benefit from Trick Attack. Skill seems a bit of a design mess, gotta see how it flows. The need to build Ninki will prohibit usage in the opener anyway.

What about going Fuma > Hyoton (the ice bind that NOBODY uses) > Huton in the beginning, then going Kassatsu > Suiton for Trick Attack? My intuition says it's garbage, but I'm just throwing it out there for speculation.

It is garbage, unless potency increase also increases the attack speed buff of Huton to 30%, which... honestly, no. I can't see that happening, much like it can't crit - With Armor Crush you could keep it up indefinitely and that would just break everything.

So using Huton is gonna be a waste of a double-powered Ninjutsu for... absolutely no gain. Most likely anyway.
