    My sister mains the WHM 24/7 and she's disappointed too, BUT she's not going to stop/leave the game over something that can EASILY be modified - of course it's going to take time, but she can play as AST until they solve the WHM issue.

    Have you even tried the other healing classes?? How do you know if you don't like it if you never even try it?

    I haven't followed SB changes as much as a prolly should. Looks like WHM is likely to take a back seat to AST in end game 8 mans. Kinda like HW atm.

    Is it taking a step backwards at all in competitiveness? Or just not moving forward? I.E. is it still going to be a preferred choice for 4 mans and competitive in 24?

    4 mans it will be even more amazing with the addition of Thin Air and it will be fine in 24m.

    Won't say AST didn't get the "Short bus" treatment at the beginning of HW, they did, so did MCH, but it has been slowly changing and it feels like Yoshi-P and the dev team are saying "Play AST, it's better than WHM" especially when the community already crunches numbers on their healing and DPS.

    So you're saying it's ok to make an unbalanced game because the player base is too bad to notice? That too me says SE aren't interested in actually balancing things and are just doing the bare minimum.

    I don't know about you, but that doesn't fill me with confidence about the state of the Dev team which is my entire point on the neglect argument. An inherently imbalanced game is bad design regardless of execution ability of the players.

    Your definition of "balance" doesn't fit here. All the compositions can clear content is the balance!! Some compositions offer advantages over other compositions!! For example some composition offer simplicity in rotation and role duty!! Others offer sufficient room for progression like having a mnk for dragon kick and a smn for additional raise!! While still others offer very tight execution synergy but reward with Optimal dps checks!!

    The Balance can simple be all the conceivable compositions can clear every single content in game.... not necessarily that each composition will perform the exact same way in the game....
