I have a ps4 and lately the disk drive keeps kicking out the ARR CD. This kicks me out of the game and I have to log back in. Can I buy ARR DD from the PSN store to prevent this, if I already own the game?
Thanks for any advice.

Sure can. Honestly with this game, digital is probably the easiest.![]()
Ok thank you. OMG that's a relief. I did not want to buy a new system or computer lol. Yea I bought Heavensward digital but ARR was on sale when I bought the physical one.
I'm not sure you should need to be using the disk in the first place. I play on PS4 as well, did NOT buy the digital version, and after I installed the game I never had to insert the disk again.
Not sure what's different about your setup, but you could try re-installing, and if it ever gives you a download vs run-from-disk option, choose download?
this seems like a question for customer support. I'm sorry to say I have no idea how stuff on the ps4 works >.>'
I can understand that!I used to play on the PS4 and digital was just the easiest. But I also wouldnt be able to pass a sale on a physical copy! Enjoy!

Ok I will try that first. I always thought it was strange that I had to use the CD. When I was on PS3 I didn't. I just thought it was a PS4 thing. Thank you for that. Don't want to spend money if I don't have to.I'm not sure you should need to be using the disk in the first place. Don't buy a digital, you'll litterally waste money. I had the same issue. It's annoying but all you have to do is uninstall ff then download the trial and your digital hw copy again, basically this circumvented inserting the disk at all and because you already have the licenses it realises it's the full game.
Trial download is necessary because it's still the full ARR download but psn won't acknowledge you have a license to download the digital ARR without the disk.
I've been playing for the last 6 months now without the need for a disk, the only pain is unistalling and having to redwonload all patch files etc.
Oh ok. I will try that as soon as I get home. Is the trial version on the PSN store? How do I get it?Don't buy a digital, you'll litterally waste money. I had the same issue. Yup it's on the psn store, it's basically just a free digital version of arr, but as you login using your ff account which has a full license it just acknowledges it as such.
