I want to buy Stormblood for a standalone copy of the game as a gift for a friend. She lives in Canada I in Chicago whats the easiest way to go about this? I keep having people tell me i cant cause the game is region locked is this true?

Canada and the US are in the same region, and region lock for this game only applies when you already have the game and are applying other codes, like expansion codes or bonus item codes, that also need to be from the same region.
