    ya magic has changed quite a bit, if there's anything troubling about it, it's how those staves/wands with the specific elemental affinity are somewhat useless now.

    Though the level at which you can learn Stone and Aero is so low and can be gained in like 10 mins so the BLM/THM can have access to at least 5/6 of the elements. Since spells are now taking a more progressive route based on your current class level it's very plausible to say that as a 50 THM your Stone/Aero spells tagged from CON may have the potency of a tier 3 or 4 elemental spell. The only difference is you'll have no ability to combo with those spells though I think this simple idea could fix it.

    Maybe a THM spell simply called
    Amplify "Combo with Aero, Stone, Aero, Blizzard or Thunder" -Can only be used in a combo-
    -When comboed with x spell does increased dmg based on spell affinity used-

    Least with a concept as simple as this one would be able to find themselves with more utility at their hands while keeping with the 15 ability class limit.
