    What is Risk??????

    Some abilities like Flawlessness for weaver "prevent increase in risk".... what exactly is risk? and how does it effect anything??????

    It's exactly what it sounds like. It's the chance of you failing your synthesis action. Seems to rise the longer you've been working on a synth, especially when sparks start appearing.

    i dont really know why theres an ability to limit something that you cannot gauge, and no one really knows what it effects or how you get or lose risk.

    it could also increase with the amount of quality you have, they already talked about what aetherial sparking does so i think they are two different things.

    Every action accumulates risk, whether its a fail or a success. Fails accumulate risk at a much higher rate (particularly bold and rapid fails). Once your risk reaches a certain level, you get the aetherial sparking and your chances for success are lowered.

    That's about all there is to it.

    no more use of bold and rapid synthesises as you cant get hq that way anymore, though it gives more exp... most likely not much.

    everyone gonna hasty hand, so they need something to loweer the risk :P
