    Eh there's a lot of things that are "mandatory" that don't see the nerf bat. Plus you're hard pressed to balance the game around raids and dungeon content and I think SE knows that. Just look at Ninja, nobody is super pleased to get them in a dungeon now but they're always welcome in a raid setting.

    Some of the mandatory stuff was there because certain classes where not that good, but if you flat out "remove" a slot because a SAM is the best option (and find one it's not going to be hard) is a very bad thing, also his natural high potency will be stronger with raid buff (perhaps meta will be build around to buffing him for insane damage).

    Anyway, with SB we are going to experiment a lot of tuning for all classes.

    Very true! Launch is going to be a bunch of silly gooses jumping ship on their classes and then getting really upset when things shift in 4.1.
