    Reraise! Actually kind of surprised this wasn't a thing, an auto rez skill would be awesome. No more loosing both healers, and there have definitely been some moments when people needed to sacrifice themselves. Something with a long cooldown or where you can only have it on a single person at a time, a skill that picked them right back up would of been great especially if it didn't give them the weaken state from dying.

    A lot of WHMs manage cooldowns like Assize and Tetra during fights and use them at the same times.

    So I would suggest that lillies simply increase potency instead of reduce recast time.

    After a little more thought I realized a couple of things, namely we don't have a lot of time before SB so the first part of my post are tweaks we can get before SB and things I hope to see in future patches.

    Tweaks

    Remove the Lily consumption from our current 1-60 skills. Too many things use the Lilies as a resource right now and the 'buff' for doing so isn't rewarding.

    Divine Benison. Now consumes one lily instead of all lilies.

    Plenary Indulgence. No longer uses confession stacks but instead uses lilies. Just AoE heals everyone based on number of lilies at time of casting.

    Those are all adjustments that could possibly be made in the next two weeks without even touching the broken Lily system or how they are generated. It makes lilies a resource we earn and helps us manage our new cooldowns.

    For future patches these are my suggestions.

    Secret of the Lily now generates lilies that give a static potency or MND % buff per Lily and have various proc chances on all our healing spells. Lilies fade upon exiting combat.

    Secret of the Lily II, grants a small chance that our damaging spells will proc a Lily.

    Mirror Reflections. Grants an AoE 10% reflect buff. Note this doesn't prevent any damage, just reflects some back at the attacker.

    ReRaise. An instant cast long cooldown targeted ability that grants an Auto-Raise buff.

    Lily's Vigor. Consumes one lily per use, no CD refunding 5% total MP per lily.

    What i could see as pretty usefull, is just adding a skill like emergency tactics allowing the whm to decide WHEN to use his lillies. Another change i could see is adding confession stacks as part of keeping regen or medica 2 on a person for a set time(like every 20 seconds they get a stack). This way, the whm has a way of getting confesseion in AOE, while also makeing generation slow enough to not make it the go to aoe heal.
    Lastly, i could see the lillys providing a passive bonus like 1% ss or or healing power, so it actually creates a meaningfull choice on when to use them on reduced cooldowns or when to just sit on them.

    Those passive effects could help push whm in a spot, where all the utility he brings to the party would be healing rather then party dps,allowing him to outshine scholar and ast ln the healing front, while also not turning into " i just heal more".

    My biggest issues with the lily mechanic is that there is no choice in when to use them. If you're prepping for a huge tank buster but use assize 15 seconds ago odds are you won't have enough lilies to use Divine Benison. We need choice.

    Changes I would like to to be seen:
    • Lilies proc off all GCD heals at a 20% rate.
    • AoE GCD heals reduced to 10% proc rate.
    • HoT ticks have a 5% chance to proc.
    • Lilies are no longer consumed upon using OGCD skills, nor do they passively give a CD reduction buff.
    • NEW SKILL: <Insert random skill name> - Consumes 3 lilies to reduce CDs by 40%. 30s duration. 60s CD.
    • NEW SKILL: <Insert random skill name> - Consumes 3 lilies to <insert random increase to whatever random buff to self or party members>. 30s duration. 60s CD.
    • NEW SKILL: <Insert random skill name> - Consumes 3 lilies to grant 3 stacks of confession to party members around you in a 30y radius. 90s CD.
    • Confession no longer has a duration and is a permanent buff until consumed.
    • Divine Benison can stay the same.
    • Confession proc rate stays the same.

    This would solve multiple problems:
    - We can now choose when to consume lilies.
    - Proc rate should be sufficient enough off all our skills to reliably use lily skills every CD.
    - Confession would still need Cure I/II to be procced but we now have a skill to reliably heal bomb the entire party with the most potent AoE spell in the game.
    - Numbers can be tweaked individually.
    - We gain a self buff, possibly raid utillity and a way to bypass confession procs.

    For the second consume lily something cool I'd like to see would be like... infuse party members weapons with wind/earth/holy magic to to deal an extra 20 potency per attack. Obviously that number can be tweaked. Or whatever. Lol.

    After seeing some feedback on these forums from certain WHMs that love to throw stones (i.e. do DPS), I've been toying with the idea of making an expanded Cleric Stance the primary WHM mechanic, for example:

    Cleric Stance – Increases the potency of attack spells by 20% while lowering the potency of healing spells by 30%. Builds Bravery instead of Faith while active. Effect ends upon reuse. 15 second cooldown upon both entering and leaving Cleric Stance.

    Faith – Applies an up to 12% damage mitigation buff to the entire party for 15 seconds. Increases the WHMs healing magic potency by 15% to 30% for 15 seconds. Consumes all Faith resource when used. 60 second cooldown.

    Bravery – Applies an up to 12% damage potency buff to the entire party for 15 seconds. Lowers the MP cost of all the WHMs spells by 15% to 30% for 15 seconds. Consumes all Bravery resource when used. 60 second cooldown.

    Blessing – Channelled spell that consumes 10% Bravery (Faith in CS) per second and builds 5% to 15% (if resource consumed) Faith (Bravery in CS) per second for up to 10 seconds. 180 second cooldown.

    Faith and Bravery use two independent resources (i.e. the building / consuming of one does not affect the other) that the WHM builds by casting spells in combat. All GCD spells contribute to Faith (or Bravery in CS), with the amount roughly dependant on their cast time (so Raise would build more than Cure) and totalling approximately 100% Faith (or Bravery in CS) in about 50s of continuous casting. Both resources slowly decay while out of combat, and are lost upon death.

    The strength of the Faith and Bravery abilities is based on the amount of their respective resources consumed, with at least 10% required for the party buff, which applies at a minimum of 3% @ 10% resource, and scales linearly (+1% for every 10% of resource) to a maximum of 12% @ 100% resource. The WHM only buffs apply even at 0% resource, and as such are always available, but also scale linearly from 15% @ 0% resource to a maximum of 30% @ 100% resource.

    Reasoning: Aside from its lack of utility, one of WHMs biggest weaknesses is that it's (supposedly) better than average healing power is really only useful in certain situations (i.e. mostly progression raiding) making it very hard to balance; too much and WHM is all but required, too little and WHM is (no thanks to being gutted) just an AST without the trimmings. These changes would address those issues by 1. Adding some classic WHM utility and 2. allowing WHMs to do greater personal DPS in situations where constant and / or high potency healing is not required.

    Notes:
    - Cleric Stance would be WHM only; put Repose in the cross-role instead.
    - I want Cleric Stance to be a trade-off between healing and damage potency, so while it’s not required for damage, it is the preferred option if you can find a big enough window.
    - I also want WHMs to still be able to heal (at significantly reduced potency) while in Cleric Stance.
    - I want the longer cooldown on Cleric Stance (now for both entering and leaving) to create more thought in stance dancing; i.e. more ‘should I really enter / drop CS at this time’ and less ‘drop CS > Regen > instantly back into CS’.
    - Faith basically replaces Divine Seal, so no need for the cross-role one unless you want two +healing potency buffs (which you may).
    - Bravery also helps with MP sustain, especially if you are spending a lot of time in Cleric Stance (presumably mostly doing damage), which makes the cross-role Shroud of Saints less mandatory.
    - I want Faith and Bravery to provide a trade-off between healing and damage, which can be dictated either by content (less healing intensive = more damage potential), or personal / group style (two WHMs? one can focus on heals while the other focuses on damage).
    - Blessing is designed as a relatively quick way to trade between Faith and Bravery while in combat (certain content may have high healing requirements followed by a DPS check; or the other way around).
    - Blessing is also designed as a means to build some Faith or Bravery just before a fight (assuming you don't mind not having Blessing available during the first 3 minutes of the fight).
    - Oh, and obviously, drop the whole Lilies and Confession thing.

    Just gonna throw out some ideas:

    -Divine Seal should have remained ours but taken the place of whatever that stone skin rip off is. Turn it into something that jives with the lily system. For example, maybe an AoE Convalescence that makes all party members heal for 20% more from spells and actions for a short duration at the cost of our lilies.

    -RNG has to go and go now. Tying it to utility is one thing. Tying it to healing is...I can't think of a nice word. Let it proc on a amount of hp restored or something else reliable and provide a constant, useful buff like MND etc, decaying overtime if the WHM does not meet requirements. EX w/ bogus numbers: 1 lily per 500 hp restored. If the WHM does not restore 500 hp for 20 secs, a lily falls off.

    -Confession needs to stick longer or (preferably) indefinitely to the targets and be easier to apply to someone other than the tank. There have been many great suggestions here from making it a stack on the WHM that they can expend in an AoE heal to the whole party or by making it proc off tics from AoE heals/regens. Again, RNG just needs to go. I'm a fan of making it permanent and proc off hp restored.

    -Seeing as WHM is lagging in skills behind the other healers, it might have been neat to give them something like shrines, similar in size to Asylum or perhaps a bit smaller. Lets say 3 of them to chose from? Pools a party member can pass through to gain a buff of some nature. Connect them to confession stacks. The more stacks a party member has at the time of entering the pool, the longer the buff lasts. EX (again with bogus numbers): One of the shrines provides an incoming damage down buff that lasts for 10 secs for 1 lily, 20 for 2, and 30 for 3. Put them on relatively large cooldown's or, heck tie them to the lily system. Something else for us to spend them on that could be of use and add some strategy to the whole thing so it isn't a mechanic that can essentially be ignored.

    -A 2nd life skill for a WHM would be amazing and I'm still surprised its never been done. Something like 'Elemental Blessing' or 'Saving Grace'. A skill that can be placed on the WHM and if they die within 20-30 seconds, raises them automatically after a brief delay. If they could place it on others, all the better but I'd settle for a personal skill at this point.

    Just my thoughts after a few days of quietly fuming.

    Extend confession buffs from 30 sec to 60 sec. this will make it more likely to plan confessions + PI to heal SERIOUS inc dmg incoming dmg. Also they don't have the time to completely rework the job, two weeks out, even a month wouldn't be long enough for them to do major changes to whm system and balance it etc. But 3060 second to confessions would be nice.
