    The Buffs WHM Needs for 4.0

    So I've been going through a lot of the posts and what not both here and on Reddit, and there's a couple of things that would **REALLY** help WHM going into SB, specifically:

    For the Lily mechanic:
    • Lilies have a 100% chance to be gained by casting any healing spell, not just Cure and Cure 2.
    • You only lose lilies if you spend them, or if you die.
    • You only spend one lily at a time.
    • Lilies buff spell speed based on the number of lilies.
    • At maximum lilies, Presence of Mind and Cleric Stance turn into group wide buffs - with Presence of Mind also affecting skill speed.

    For Confessions:
    • Any single target spell will give a player a 100% chance to gain a confession buff.
    • Confession buffs fall off when the player is of combat - which may also unfortunately include if a player dies in combat

    That's several changes that would greatly improve WHM going into SB, a

    - consumes all lilies
    - Creates a barrier around the target that lasts for 15 seconds + 5 seconds per lily consumed (20-30 seconds)
    - If the target is hit by a physical attack, the shield returns damage of a certain potency (I'm not going to come up with an arbitrary number but this is based on target's stats)
    - If the target is hit by a magical attack, the shield reduces the amount of damage taken by the next attack by a certain %.

    Halo of the Lily
    - consumes all lilies
    - Buffs the target for 15 seconds + 5 seconds per lily consumed (20-30 seconds)
    - Whenever the target executes a critical attack, they receive the Presence of Mind buff.

    - I don't think it should be 100% to be gained by casting any healing skill, BUT 50% would be enough.

    - Losing only one lily would be ideal when you cast those four skills, except in the case of the Stone Skin buff which should be stronger based on how many lilies you have and consume them all in the process.

    - I agree completely on lilies buffing spell speed, even if it's only 2%/4%/6%, that would be good.

    - And for the maximum lilies, being able to cast Presence of Mind and Cleric Stance to the party, YES, all of that would be awesome, including buffing skill speed for everyone. Some utility WHM was greatly lacking for raid content.

    Lilies having a guaranteed proc could easily be offset by limiting how many you can get per second. Like one every ten seconds, at most.

    one every 10 sec would be good...that is better than what we're possibly getting.

    I would like to see no Timer on Confessions, save for getting out of battle. that would be a nice change.

    First of all I want to say I am very pleased that you all were on board with the suggestions. Even if it is a bit early to tell since we haven't seen all the skills but up to what 64 was it? Even still, I hope that SE sees some of these suggestions and quite frankly just ganks'em to use in game. I haven't had the pleasure of reading each of your posts today cause work and attempting to be an adult. Still, first thing tomorrow I will check all these out and post some more in depth ideas when I get home.

    just add a spell that converts heal spells into damage and we're good with the lillies.

    Reverse: For 15s, you can target ennemies with your healing spell (cure, cure II, cure III, medica II, regen). It deals unaspected damage to these target instead of healing them for an amount equal to 50% of the healing potency. (25% of the potency for healing over time). 60s cooldown

    Then you can dps with the heal as a pure healer, and proc your lillies with it.
    Stone IV isnt getting obsolete, since you have to have a skill to dps when its on cooldown. It also compensate our lack of utility by giving us a huge burst over the other healers.

    They should basically copy Discipline Priest Atonement buff in WoW. It would be perfect in converting dmg into heal. Also a uaranteed Lily Proc on Damage done, would be interesting. Promotes DPS while gaining benefits for healing.

    *Cure & Cure II have a 20% chance,
    *Medica & Medica II have a 10% chance,
    *Any form of regen 5%.

    Honestly just get rid of Confessions. With the pure healer in mind, add something to replace divine seal since ast and sch has increase healing % in their kit.

    Natural Attraction (Trait)
    Your healing spells now has a chance to attract pure sprites. These sprites will fly around the caster (and each show on the gauge) and can assist the caster into creating new abilities. Each pure sprite increase all healing potency by 5%. Pure sprites stack at a maximum of 5. (Uses above lily proc chances)


    Divine Benison (All party members instead, 4% per stack, 20% max)
    Plenary Indulgence (1:400, 2:450, 3:500, 4:550, 5:600)
    All sprites are lost upon casting these

    Saving the sprites for increased healing (With the lost of Divine Seal) until you use these stacks for group healing or shields would be better. Plus who wouldn't want butterflies around them???

    Some few suggestions:

    Stoneskin/Quake
    Have it sort of be like Titan's heart phase and detonate the stoneskin to cause aoe damage around the player who has the stoneskin applied. Still protects against damage while barrier is up. Would be great for both solo and group content.

    Cure III
    Should also grant confession like Cure I&II. As raid and primal utility this would help with shielding a bit of damage like AST does with their Collective Unconscious. Rescue doesn't pull more than one person, but often there are more than one melee/mage standing in an aoe. Healing at or after a party buster doesn't help if they get a k.o. from having no shield to reduce damage.

    Sacrifice
    Sacrifice 50% of max mp and all lillies to multiply the next single-target ability (like the BRD Barrage skill). Reduce cooldown time of Thin Air by xx%. Edit: To clarify, single-target ally or enemy.

    Sanctify/Sublimate
    Next healing spell grant confession to valid targets and one lilly to self.

    It would be nice to be able to have a small variation of Holy to shoot forward too, like a Fluid Aura II, since damage has been/will be removed from Fluid Aura.
