    Easiest way for i230

Hey all! I'm trying to finish up the MSQ missions in preparation for Storm blood after a hiatus from MSQ. I'm at the dungeon that requires i230 and I'm currently at 218. What should I be running for the right gear and tomes to get me where I need to be? Thanks!

PvP rewards you with easy to get ilvl235 equipment, including weapons.

pvp gear is i230 and it can be obtained super fast, like a whole set in just a few hours. I used that for temporary gear until i got my better pve gear. Just keep in mind pvp gear is not built for pve. Im pretty sure youd be very low on accuracy, but a piece or two shouldn't hurt too much though.

All level 60 dungeons (as well as many roulettes run at level 60) will earn you Tomestones of Lore and Tomestones of Scripture.
Lore will let you buy i230 gear while Scripture buys you i260 gear.
You can also run Palace of the Dead to get an i235 weapon which can (with more PotD runs) be upgraded to i255. Doing PotD at level cap will also earn you tomestones.

There are also other things you can do to get gear, but the above is probably the quickest and easiest to get half-decent gear.

actually some of that pvp gear has better stats for some classes.......which is sad...

pvp gear is teh easiest or raid gear. pvp is probably the fastest route then I'd focus on raid gear (alex or dun scaith)

    Hey!

You can farm Aetherochemical Research Facility for Lore tomestones to buy the guy (for the weapon btw, you will need to run Alexander Midas 4, 4 times as well as getting the Lore tomestones). Once you have all the Lore gear (except for one of the 2 rings, because unique items), then you can start grinding Void Ark and Weeping City of Mhach. One of each raid for each item (except for one ring of the two). Then, you buy the stuff you need from Idyllshire. You'll be wanting to buy the Lore gear, and the I think "High Capacity Tomestone" (whatever the tomestone it is you get from purchasing Midan gear). Then, you go to the woman on the raid, to buy the curious knicknacks. You buy the Gobcoat for accessories + belt (I think), Gobdip for weapon (I think, could be mixed up with the Gobcoat, and vice-versa. I know one does weapons, the other accessories + belt, check the tooltips!), and the Gobtwine for your left side (excluding belt). Make sure you get the ones that cost one Mhachi Farthing and one Mhachi Penny each. Then you head to the Au Ra in central-southern Idyllshire (not got PoS on me atm), and use her to augment your Lore gear to i240 (once one of your rings is i240, you can get the other at i230 too). Hope this helps. Not in game atm so don't have actual item names etc. So sorry for that.

If your situation is anything like my husband and mine's was, I didn't want to sit around on the MSQ while grinding for Scripture. I was at full Lore (with one piece of scripture), but my weapon was holding my average ilvl back. The Lore weapon is ilvl 230 and can be purchased with 10 Rowena Tokens (Lore) plus a High Capacity Tomestone. You get the High Capacity thing with 4 Midan Gears, obtained by killing the last Midas boss 4 times. Anyway, take that High Capacity Tomeston and the 10 Rowena Tokens and go to the vendor on the far right of those three in Idyllshire. I forget which submenu it is, but she has a bunch of 230 weapons for sale when you give her those items. That should be enough to get you to the appropriate ilvl.

It's freaking convoluted as hell, especially if you want to upgrade it to 240, and honestly I NEVER would have figured it out if not begging people for help in /sh on how to get my ilvl higher...

Running Weeping City can help. By running Weeping City and Void Ark once each, you can earn items to upgrade lore gear. Not to mention the chance at i230 gear in Weeping City.

agreed - spam Frontlines on the weekend for easy gear/lore/scripture and FUN (no really, the new snow Frontlines is so much better than Seal Rock I was pleasantly surprised.) And remember - since ACC is going the way of the dodo it doesn't matter that there is none on the PvP gear (just don't try doing savage content with it until the expansion...)

Tomestones of Lore can purchase i230 gear for all slots.
You can get an i235/i255 weapon from Palace of the Dead.
PvP has full sets of i235 gear.
Level 60 dungeons can give up to i245 gear for all slots except weapon.

A word of advice since you imply your goal is to gear up in preparation for 4.x as fast as possible. Go the PvP path, as once you have your full set of PvP i235 gear, you can just head straight into the Dun Scaith raid, which will upgrade your left-side gear to i260 and also has a weekly quest for i270 right-side gear. You'll still need to obtain a weapon from some other source though. Palace of the Dead is easy i255, Zurvan Extreme gives i265, or Tomestones of Scripture for i260 that can be upgraded to i270.
