Well I did like the idea behind PotD but I agree that its not that much fun. With a four man group you should have no problems from 1-100 and everything after that is not reachable with pugs, so you need three other people that all need time too. The only challenge the palace gave me was with solo play. I was killed on 120 and found out that everything after 150/180 is not doable solo..so it kinda killed that content for me too. x) I do say that its still better than Diadem and LoV but really I also dont think that people would run it that much if it hadnt that good exp.
But in a way we need content that people are willing to run without some really big carrot on the stick. (You will need one but PotD really overdoes it with its carrots)
In a way thanks to the track record of them I dont feel good about the information..because they simply did not show me that they are able to create long lasting content. Also after all the cash shop sales and other stuff one would believe that they are able to do more and not less content..I mean they someone managed to do all that in ARR and yet now where they should have more experience with the genre too and everything, we will get less?
LoV could have been so much better. Just make it like pokemon and not this stuff. This would have made me as a pet collector really happy and I could have seen myself doing lots of this stuff. Yet I only did LoV long enough to get the prince pet and I just cant see myself doing it again.
Chocobo racing and other stuff in the golden saucer are fun but sadly are neglected. No new racing track for example and you will have no chance in the challenges if you dont have a great chocobo.
They killed TT for me with all their RNG and unfair cards for NPCs. You need just one hell of a time to collect them all (and luck). Also they did nothing against the cheating in the tournaments.
Aquapolis is a nice little content and one of their best ones imo but its still over quite fast depending on luck. I wish that they would have done more with it. Maybe some kind of riddle to go against the RNG or instead of kicking people out you would get harder monsters and which each fail you will get less of a chance to survive this. They could have decreased the loot a little and only put the big ones in the last chest but without that much RNG on top of RNG people would have reached the end more often.
Still they either have content that is over way to fast thus does not help against feeling bored at endgame (like Aquapolis, Khloe and Zhloe) or they have content that you need to do all the time to get everything (like TT or even PVP). I hope that they will find a way to have content that is grindy but not so much that you will never get everything if you dont play it all the time. At the same time it should not be overfilled with that much loot which will destroy the market too. Really I feel like a trash can after some PotD runs. Also it would be nice not to have to run the content because it has the best weapon or armor but because its fun and a nice way to pass your time if you want to take a break from the other stuff.
I know that this is probably not easy to do but if they want to create meaningful and long lasting content they need to create something like that.
In the end I want to use more than one aspect of the game. I want to fight, gather, craft, do some side content like gold saucer and more. I dont want to have to put in hours of running the same dungeon or fighting against an awful NPC just to get one TT card..so please SE dont create content with people in your mind that will only run that content and nothing else. You are a more casual game, a theme park, so please let people ride more than one attraction and not having to focus on one part to get everything. I know that this might be bad for people that only care about one aspect of the game but those will go even through the most grindy content really fast.
Also please dont forget your old content like chocobo racing. You dont need to recreate the wheel every time. Sometimes its already helping if you add to your existing content or make it better.

At least in PoTD there is some sort of replay value (due to RNG in the floors layout), that cannot be found in conventionnal dungeon runs. In conventionnal dungeons there is only one way forward and nothing to even think about.
SE decreasing the number of dungeon per patch might not be as bad as people think, but only if they alter their dungeon design (so they aren't corridors with only a few trashs mobs and boring bosses) and/or focus on alternative relevant PVE content. But honestly I kinda expect them to allocate the available ressources to develop new mogstation items.

I guess... I don't count though since every room is practically identical to the last it all just blurs together. Only replay value PotD has for me is it's the fastest way to level... and maybe grind tomes if i want an even easier experience and don't want to deal with bads. Bads in dungeons make the whole experience more painful or impossible, bads in PotD don't matter in the slightest... they're just extra meat to soak up damage for me anyway lol ;P

I d like to see you reach floor 200 while doing 25 % of your rotation. Also, 4 men dungeons in HW aren't more interesting nor difficult.
I was pretty sure a mount dropped there.IIRC floors 101+ don't give rewards.
yes 1 to 1 what the dungeons she don't like so much doing.
make you think what the same people will say if doing a dungeon was faster that doing potd runs.
