Basically, Bio becomes Bio II at level 26, and is now instant cast. But, it has potency of 35 still (so, it's weaker than Bio). Now you only have two DoTs, and Bane was given the same treatment as Holy (100% potency on the first, then 80% on second, 60% on third, etc, down to 20% minimum). Especially because our DoTs were already reduced by over 30% (and not to mention the loss of Aero for single-target), multi-target damage will be very low compared to what it was in the past. (oh, and Shadow flare is on a 60s CD now. Miasma II/Blizzard II gone as well!)

I guess it helps brings things closer in terms of balance, but it really sucks for solo/duo content :c

Shadow Flare is an oGCD instant.

Also no more cleric stance dancing so can kind of just keep nuking.

Makes little appreciable difference for solo content since you aren't usually engaging large numbers of enemies alone, and everything will die quickly regardless.

For group content it is undeniably a significant nerf, but frankly I'm fine with it. WHM was already the best dungeon trash-compactor among the healers, and 4.0 looks to make them even better at it. Even AST gets in on the action with their own variation on Assize.

WHM and AST can have that. SCH will be happy with its crit-up debuff.

This part doesn't really make a difference. SCHs already did this just fine, with even more ease than the other healers did.

Though I agree, the crit-up debuff will make up for the loss of damage in group content.

As someone who frequently duos Aquapolis on SCH, the Bane change is hell. I understand the removal of the DoTs, since they did the same to WHM and AST, but ouch. Bane hurts.

I feel SCH should have gotten a 50-80 potency AoE nuke to counteract the loss of Blizzard 2.

It's baseless. They believe healers only DPS to carry DDs, which is far from the truth. But they are too stubborn to ever think otherwise, so it's pointless wasting time doing so. Just ignore her and move on.
