    Yeah but people already do that. Ruin 3 is spammed between all techniques.

    Fester is the addition to the spam not outside of it.

    So basically you're looking at

    (DoTs)>Fester>Ruin 3>Ruin 3>Ruin 3> Fester> and so on until DWT and Deathflare, on a single target boss mob.

    IF Fester becomes only 200 potency it will be pointless to even use...

    Then it will just be Painflare>Painflare>Painflare>DWT... so even Ruin 3 spam would be pointless other than one or two.

    Yes, bane got nerfed but who cares? Single target damaged got drastically increased thanks to Bahamut and now we Devotion, which will be a very welcome addition to raids.

    Actually no... it will be even WORSE for Raids...

    Because NOW when the Boss mob goes invulnerable on you... you lose ALL your damage... not just a small portion that you can halt or postpone briefly.

    It actually screwed us there too...

    Its worse than just losing a Deathflare... you lose the Deathflare + Ruin 3 bonus + Bahamet Damage... which if I read it right WILL be our primary damage for raids... so yeah it really hosed us.
