    Yes. As far as I know, nothing gets erased. They want you to come back at anytime, removing your character and starting from scratch would dissuade people.

    The only thing I take issue with is the fact that Square-Enix still has yet to reveal a proper Credit-Card/Debit payment option that does NOT involve ClickandBuy. (And UltimatePay adds a service surcharge, eff that.)
