NOTE: Some folks are confused as to why Mage's Ballad's name didnt change considering it no longer has anything to do with "mages" specifically anymore. To hopefully have SE address the naming issue, please post your feedback here.

Going to be honest, not happy about losing Flaming Arrow. Everything else that got removed or moved to cross role made sense, Flaming Arrow removal is odd though.

Beyond that, I'm fairly excited. Although our openers from here on out will be really, really weird. Guess our first task is to find out which song we should really be singing first...

Watched BRD and BLM. What's the deal with lower the potency on a bunch of skills and buffs SE!? I like feeling stronger when I Lv up.

Bloodletter Procs all day for BRD with DRG and SCH! 10% for Straight shot + 2% for Mage's Ballad + 15% for Battle Litany + 20% for SCH's new Chain Strategem = 47% increase in Crit Rate for Ballad's duration while Crits from the DoTs reset Bloodletter and Rain of Death!

It may not be Crit hit.. but Direct Hit is kinda similar if I recall what Yoshi-P said about it in live letter.

This will up the damage, yes, but the Proc only occurs on Crits. This would make each proc hurt more but won't give you more procs.

True. I can see why they dropped some of the buffs potency for things like Raging Strikes though. Since each song gives the same 2% crit rate bonus and it seems like we selectively rotate through those songs for the other effects, we can keep that 2% crit up for quite a while.

Yeah, that's definitely a very good change. I'm very much looking forward to playing my BRD in SB now.
