    Sudden Frame Drops

    I just started playing FFXIV a week ago and i never had frame rate issues till i beat the main story line in A Realm Reborn. In certain areas it will drop to around 30-35fps and becomes really laggy, but it's only occasional like loading into crowded areas and unreached parts of dungeons. I usually run everything at med-high settings 1080p.

    I tried lowering graphics to standard laptop still get frame drops.

    PC Specs.
    AMD FX-6300 Six-Core
    EVGA GTX 760 2GB SC
    8GB G.Skill RipJaws X
    Corsair CX500 PSU
    MSI 970a-g43 motherboard
    Windows 10 pro

    Sounds about right for that hardware. Is the game on an SSD or a regular hard drive? That'll also make a pretty noticeable impact on loading times and how much stuttering you get while the game is loading models etc. in busy areas.
