i challenged him to show me examples of any successful current MMOs which allow constant movement without cancellation of spells (especially with balanced pvp), because that's really the only way to prove his point about it being necessary for 'dynamic battles'

i mean, have you guys even ever played any MMOs? ever? at all?

i'm trying to imagine how laughably easy hardmode fights in WoW would be if you never had to stop to cast. and you want to tell me those raid battles are 'static'?

which universe do you even live in?

also, as far as just assuming you're bad for disagreeing with me- it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with you disagreeing. all i know is that i scored 5 chest clears of *both* new dungeons several days ago. i did everything but tank, but i mostly played blm and whm.

i don't have any problems with moving canceling spellcasting. you guys seem to.

so that's weird.
ok let me first say i do not care what you have done in game. all i have stated is 3 things and you can argue either of them if you think you can make a point on either of them.

1. just because someone dislikes something doesn't make them wrong nor a bad player.

2. this game has ZERO PVP at all in this game at this moment so you cannot say it's balanced around something that does not exist yet. you realize why it's not in game now correct? they stated it was because this engine and server structure could not handle it efficiently. that brings me to my third point.

3. i have stated and i keep this opinion that if the server structure and engine cannot efficiently handle a system then it should have been delayed until the new systems were in place. i'm not saying not to add something, but when the producer states that if you use a controller then the system is not going to work properly because it cannot be done correctly with the engine we are using now it should not have been done at all until it could have been put in properly.

btw, you wanted to attack his statement about the paladin, but completely jumped over the one about action que. it went in one patch and was removed the next because of the feedback it was given. the question is which time do you want people to state they don't like something before or after it's put in?
