Seriously, Yoshi-P said right in his post that mages would be getting more insta-cast and CC spells.

I understand we should be getting new abilities in 2.0 but the patch note specifically said "* Moving will be made to interrupt spellcasting at a point in time between patch 1.20 and 1.21." so that explanation doesn't really help us in the meantime unless we are getting some of those spells before 2.0.
