In FF9, Eiko would jump around while casting spells, aka moved. Just because everyone else does it, doesn't mean this game has to do it. I think certain spells should require being still during cast, such as Burst, Freeze, Thundaga, and higher tier spells, but I don't think Fire should require being stationary. Either add in a trait allowing for its movement, but all spells being either instant cast or stationary cast is boring.

IMO, I won't play mage in pvp, because like in every other game, it is horrible and just gets instantly killed. I will just play a hard armored DoW or OP ARC.

but FF9 is not an MMO with PvP -.- I get it but coming from MMOs that did a lot of PvP I can see the reason why mages have to be stationary for all non insta cast spells for PvP and PvE.
