Trust me, I do too. Ifrit is one of those cases.Sure grinding raptors it is easy to have 8 people stand where they should be but its just grinding raptors and you don't usually have to do anything exciting or pay attention after you get in the groove. But for more exciting stuff it shouldn't always that way.
See, I want more dynamic fights where standing completely still 100% of the time isn't an option.
But mostly I hate it when on a persons screen they are standing dead still but the server doesn't know it yet...
You gotta be kidding me. I like movement, but I don't think casting while moving should happen. Movement doesn't always mean you are doing something with magic DUH.
really bro? DeadRiser is a decent conj and a fantastic thm. Let's not attack other players, about their ability to do their job that's disrespectful.
I wouldn't call it static casting, because your not exactly casting the same spell each time. I like the risk involved in non-movement casting, I think we need to have it implimented before we completely hate it.
No, I am not.
If you want dynamic combat, you should be able to move and cast at the same time. Having to stop, cast, hold spot until spell has been cast is not dynamic, nor produces dynamic content. It produces non-dynamic content in which the AI run through cycles that promotes non-dynamic game play, which unfortunately, the ability to run and cast is being sacrifice for the sake of PVP "balance" ultimately. Seriously, if I'm not being pushed to cure\nuke while running out of random 'eruptions' in future fights, while taking into consideration of the distance between my target, I would not consider the content as dynamic as it could of been.
This forum will only get worse with class/job balancing topics once PVP is implemented. Why? One reason is that there will be that few 'x class/job' that will post to high heavens, constantly creating new topics, just to be heard, because they cannot beat 'x class/job,' and multiple other classes will have to suffer each update with job/class change adjustment in both PVE and PVP environment while SE tries to cater to both crowds.
