    as long as spells without a cast time (of which there are some now) can be cast without stopping, I'm fine with this.

    No thanks. I don't want to be a mage in pvp if it means like every other game that I'll be instantly stun locked because of character delay and dow being OP -> instantly killed. I bet one ARC barrage would kill a BLM with his specs.

    I'm disappointed in yoshi yet again. This guy doesn't know how to balance anything he's giving mages way too many weaknesses first there's running out of mp because surprise surprise your spells cost 1/6 of your mana pool, then you can't cast anything while getting hit, and then you can't cast while moving. so when can I cast? when the other team is full of 10 year olds who don't know how to play? An archer would kill you in one barrage or combo with your measly 2k hp and if he doesn't you still wouldn't be able to cast due to getting interrupted from his ranged attacks. BLM in this game is going to be the LOL XI summoner in PvP. What happens when a lancer gets in range? you can never get away you both move at the same speed and their auto attack will still ping you as flee unable to cast because you cant cast while running and you can't stop because you can't cast while getting hit. Meanwhile melee have just one weakness; getting into range.

    Edit: I forgot to mention lowest hp of all classes so we're sitting at a 4 weakness to 1 ratio.
    Edit2: Also low HP scales as a weakness if one player can kill you fast two players beating on you would be even faster and three would be light speed and so forth.

    I dunno, you could try casting one of your insta cast crowd control abilities.

    PvP is just gonna lead to everyone calling a class cheap and be nerfed.

    Black Mage will get a big nerf, calling it right now.

    "Wahhhh this black mage just hits me with Blizzara, to hit me with gravity."

    "BLack Mage's combos are too powerful and almost kill me in one combo, nerf it."

    I hate pvp, I will never do it/use it. But there will be lots of people who will complain and ask for jobs to be nerfed. it always happens. Frankly, I am tired of that bull shit. If this could be done it needs to be done like this: make pvp zones change the playstyle, like movement canceling, like an instance.

    Soloing, I don't see a problem with how it is now. It's strategy and timing with a hint of luck (possible resists)
