Hang on a minute... isn't Ama that person that said 30ms is unplayable in the thread about the server move? Yeah, not taking them seriously anymore. Obvious troll is obvious.

Why should people listen to those that twists stories around? Since you chose to derail I point you to this:
If you can't see how slow the game is when it comes to response, I do not know what to say to you. People complain about cleric stance "not working" also has to do with this. The point of saying you see lag even at 30 ms or even at 0 ms is because of the delays this game has that shouldn't be there.TL;DR: If more actions in the game functioned like Mudras, where the Client is trusted without requiring a response from the server, much of FFXIV's clunky action execution problems would evaporate. That's what I think, anyway.
What do you think about FFXIV's overall responsiveness, relating to Ping and in general?
___________________________________________________
After the server move, there are a lot of players who have much worse Ping than before; and many who have much better. That's to be expected.
But the server move basically makes it such that almost every player understands the effect an increase from 70 to 150ms can be to FFXIV.
I think r/Anidamo on Reddit summarised the underlying issue with FFXIV's ping-reliant responsiveness:
The way the Client and Server communicate is (presumably, based on watching traffic via Network Monitoring programs) seems to favor waiting on the server before allowing the Client to proceed. This is quite frankly woefully inefficient and sluggish for a game that came out post-2010.
Legacy players will remember that a lot of the reasons why 1.0 felt so clunky to play was because every single action, including menu actions, would require a response from the server before executing that action. It does appear the same issue is at play, but to a lesser, though still noticable degree.
The following are also affected by FFXIV's tendency to wait on the server for input:
___________________________________________________
>Moving targets being more difficult to hit, as melee abilities start then stop if you aren't inside of the target
>Buffs/Debuffs need a tick to apply, or the next GCD used after them will not benefit from them unless you wait a moment (best exemplified with using Bio then Fester or Bane)
___________________________________________________
Now, my question is:
What do you think? Is FFXIV responsiveness about right? Is it sluggish, compared to other MMOs? Do you like that there is an activation-delay between a GCD and an oGCD being available?
I've seen people fall into one of three camps:
-They think XIV is a clunky MMO
-They think XIV is fine as it is
-They don't notice the sluggishness I an many other players talk about
I'm wondering how many people really think of this as a problem, and if so, how interested they would be in the game being overall more responsive.

So now not only have you bypassed the forum blacklist feature to continue to 'harass' me by making false claims that I am breaking the ToS but you are now also contributing to the derailment of this thread. How much more of a hypocrite do you have to make of yourself before you wise up and stop?
Mogstation is overpriced. Why should one set of glamour clothes cost 1/3 of the entire game? Surely you can't argue that fact.

Not only are people arguing that fact with me, but harassing me because I have the view saying it was overpriced. (And how this thread was made to mock people that have such views) Apparently I am blacklist dodging just because one account is post capped and I should not be listened to calling it overpriced because I point out the slow responsiveness of the game.

I would agree that some of the things on the mog station are over priced. Mostly I think that any item that you have to pick a character for, instead of buying it for all your characters, is never ever going to be purchased by me. And 20 dollar glams aren't unheard of, but even if I was tempted to buy one I won't if it's for a single character and especially as long as the glam system is in the current state. I have nowhere to store it. They need to make a user friendly wardrobe separate from general storage before I will put any money into something like that.

From off top my head, the only pricing I agree with is name changes, race changes, server change, and weddings. There is no reason a glam outfit should cost more then a race change. Even space retinal is too high, I think that is the worst mog station offender.I would agree that some of the things on the mog station are over priced. Ama's made a thread complaining about how their "friend" was temp banned for trying to get around a blacklist before too
@ topic -
This latest mogstation update isn't for me, but I expect to be swimming in eastern clothes in 2 weeks so I'm good. Maybe I'll buy the emote next payday. The more I see it being spammed the more I like it.
