7.4 NQ Desynthesis Option Makes QoL Worse

7.4: "You may now choose to receive only NQ items when desynthesizing."

This new feature makes Desynthesis take longer every time you desynthesize an item. It is so clunky now. It may only be a few seconds per desynthesis but it will add up over time.

After bringing up the menu on an item you want to desynthesize and choosing "Desynthesis":

Normal Items:

Pre-7.4:
Item was simply desynthesized without any extra prompts.
0 Extra Button Presses

Post-7.4:
NQ Prompt Menu appears.
"Left" "Confirm"
2 Extra Button Presses

Unique / Untradable Items:

Pre-7.4:
"Left" "Desynthesis" "Left" "Confirm"
4 Buttons / 3 Unique Actions

Post-7.4:
"Left" "Up" "Check Box" "Down" "Confirm"
5 Buttons / 5 Unique Actions

I never had any issues with converting stacks of HQ items into NQ ones. It's rare to even get HQ items from desynthesis. I just know that people who desynthesize lots of items now have to waste a lot more time and effort doing so. For me that is going to be thousands of unnecessary extra button presses per year.

Please revert Desynthesis back to 7.3. Thanks.

yeah i agree, i don't know why i, or anyone else for that matter, would want to guarantee a lower quality option. if there's a reason i'm oblivious to, i'm open to a new reality but for the life of me, why would i want any desynthesis mat i get be guaranteed to be worse?

I could have used the NQ option when I was buying large amounts of desynthable objects off the MB, for reasons. But I agree, the extra inputs aren't worth it.
