Mog Pass: a Thread about Buying in Bulk

Howdy howdy howdy,

so i was happy to see the new items on the mog station today and wanted to ask
around both the community and the dev. team.

could there be a way added to the mog shop that you can buy items for your whole account or just for a single character?

as it stands there are only certain items that can be account-wide.

and i would just LOVE it if i could buy some items in bulk for all my alts and future alts.

things like Emotes i would love to buy as Account wide items. <3
Can we get it please?

yeah I would have to agree with Mysticales here as its quite anoying when you want to buy 4 things having to enter in payment details 4 times

Buy Crysta, Its easier for bulk transactions vs seeing a charge on your card so many times that the bank may soon flag thinking its "fraud".

I do that already, it was too much of a pain in the... to do it any other way

So, there is a problem with the mog station and bulk buying. YAY im not alone on this.

so then things to ask are:

Shopping Cart for multiple items
and
Account wide item purchases

please keep the comments coming i want to hear more from everyone.

While I understand the account-wide thing and why SE does that, a shopping cart would be extremely useful. Lob in everything you want. Perhaps in the cart have an option to dig into a particular item and determine who gets what. So for example White Devil, 2 for you (one for main, one for alt), and 3 gift codes. So you can decide who gets what. And have it reflected in the card. Lump it all into one big transaction, and away you go. Would be useful for some things too, since Steam for example demands a minimum of £4 topup for the wallet. Pa-Paya orch roll costs £1.35... this means I can top up the amount I need for that one item and away I go.

Account wide, shopping cart, all that grand stuff needs to be default ... Not paying extra. I mean it doesn't but other MMO's (competitive, I'm not talking about scum of the earth MMOs) put SE's shop to shame currently - depending on which one more than just the above reasons too.

Server structure is also part of the reason why items from the cash shop are per-character rather than per-account; Yoshida was quite clear that it’s not about getting more money for the same things but about the way that the game handles account-wide entitlements. Because of the limitations and the strain on the game’s database, they have to minimize those options; they would like, at the very least, to make more expensive items account-wide rather than per-character.

So it's not about the money, apparently just marking things as "account wide" kills the game database for whatever reason.
